Opulent Avarice

Overview

Opulent Avarice is a Season of the Haunted Triumph for opening Opulent Chests with Opulent Keys on the Derelict Leviathan. The original patrol destination entered the Destiny Content Vault on 28 February 2023, so this chest-opening objective is no longer obtainable there.

How to complete

During the original season, keys could drop from destination chests, Haunted Alcove chests, and Nightmare Containment reward chests. Inspect the key's clue, then travel to the matching chest in the Pleasure Gardens or Royal Pools. Only one key could be carried at a time, so use it before farming another.

In the Gardens, the ruins clue points left from the entrance, fallen greatness points to the broken Calus head on the right, and the loyal companion clue points to the dog statue across the room. In the Pools, the chest clues identify the statue's feet, the former waterfall, or the columns. Opening a different chest does not consume the key or advance the objective.
