History of Partition Module

Overview

The Partition Module is a yellow Vex Module from Encore, one of three module types alongside the green Connection and blue Access modules. Destinypedia describes it as removing solid walls in the area when installed in its bowl.

Acquisition

The module drops from a Partition Minotaur, which appears once the Vex and Shadow Legion enemies guarding a room are cleared. Destinypedia names the enemy the PARTITION Module Bearer, and in City Traversal a Minotaur called Independent Variable carries the pickup. Sources disagree on the enemy's name.

Use

Dunk the module at the yellow Vex plate near where the Partition Minotaur was killed. In City Traversal the pickup goes into a bowl beside a shell-shaped door, which opens it for Radiolite extraction and activates a conflux leading to the first set of secrets.
