History of Petitioner's Mark

'''Petitioner's Mark''' is a buff gained in the Vorgeth fight of The Shattered Throne by collecting the orbs dropped from Taken Wizards. It lasts 45 seconds, and each pickup resets the timer, so a player who lets it run out dies. Holding the Mark is also the only way to remove Vorgeth's shield.

Once a group holds four stacks, the buff is deposited at one of the four stations around the arena. Doing so briefly strips the shield from Vorgeth, giving the team a short window to deal damage. Sources differ on the details of the four-stack step and on whether the Marks may be split between players, so check current guides before a run.
