Taken Wizards

'''Taken Wizards''' are Taken casters, also called Hive Wizards, that float and cast much like their living form. A Void shield protects them, so they must be stripped with Void damage before they take normal harm, and they summon Shadow Thrall to swarm Guardians while they are alive. Their sweeping Necromantic Gaze fires variable-speed Solar projectiles, so dodge it and aim for the head.

Shattered Throne

In the Vorgeth encounter of The Shattered Throne, four Taken Wizards, known there as Keepers of Petitions, are scattered around the arena. Killing one drops an orb; collecting it grants the Petitioner's Mark buff, which lasts 45 seconds and is refreshed by each pickup. Players should kill the Wizards quickly, as the encounter asks.
