Overview

Pyrotoxin Rounds is the intrinsic on Xenophage, a Solar Exotic Machine Gun that uses Heavy ammo and sits in the Power slot. It fires high-powered explosive ammunition, so each round detonates on impact instead of acting as a standard bullet.

Use

Explosive rounds make Xenophage useful against groups, since each hit can damage more than one target around the point of impact. The perk is the weapon's defining trait, so its value comes from the explosions rather than from raw bullet damage.

Acquisition

Xenophage is a quest reward from The Journey, a Season 8 questline. Pyrotoxin Rounds comes with the weapon.
