Qinziq

Qinziq is a Psion officer serving Emperor Calus in the Loyalist faction. She first appears in Season of the Chosen, where Calus sends her with Bahr'Toran and Katabasis to take the Glykon Volatus from the Red Legion on Nessus.

Aboard the Glykon Volatus, a Cabal Carrier-class warship, Qinziq moved her laboratory and ran experiments on Scorn. She aimed to strengthen the Scorn's link to the Darkness so Calus could commune with it through the Crown of Sorrow, and she recruited the Psion Yirix to the cause.

When the experiment pulled the ship into another realm, Qinziq led the surviving crew in trying to sever the Crown's link to the Scorn hive mind. The ritual engulfed her in black fire, and she died when she failed to shield the remaining defenders. Her story is told in the Captain's Log lore book.
