Rhys

Rhys is an Aionian human who served as assistant to Dr. Carnahan on Kepler. When the House of Exile arrived on Kepler, Rhys welcomed the Eliksni and became friends with Azeryks. The two talked about what their peoples shared, such as scrapworking.

As the Exiles rallied behind the increasingly fanatical Archon Levaszk, Azeryks warned Rhys that tainted Ether had convinced him the Giver was speaking to him. Levaszk then spoke through Azeryks while Rhys watched, and Azeryks told Rhys not to trust him again before fleeing back to his Archon.

Rhys is killed during the Guardian's search for Strangelet Capsules on Kepler. Exiles led by Felciks ransack Carnahan's lab in the Outer Steppes to steal Mattermorph, and Rhys's body is mutilated beyond recognition.
