History of Sacrosanctifier

Overview

Sacrosanctifier is a legacy Season of Defiance Ritual triumph for completing Defiant Battleground: Cosmodrome. It rewards The Beaten Path.

How to complete

Fight through the Shadow Legion in the Dry Sea and enter the portal into the Ascendant Plane. Clear the Taken along the route, using the dropped Taken Essence to remove the blocking blights and enter the pyramid outpost.

Survive the ambush and follow the traversal route back after being teleported outside. During the final fight with Zatocc, Devoted to the Witness, ignite the Balefire, defeat the Ravenous Taken, and consecrate their essences there. Throw the resulting orb at the boss to break its immunity, repeating the process through the fight. Defeat the boss and release the prisoners to finish the mission. The original Defiance seasonal route retired in June 2024.
