History of Seasonal Activity

Seasonal Activity is the generic in-game launch entry for the current season's featured fireteam activity (the in-game blurb: join a fireteam to overcome challenges and crush your foes). It is not one fixed mode; each season supplies its own, such as the Battlegrounds of Season of the Chosen, Gambit Prime and The Reckoning of Season of the Drifter, or later seasons' activities.

History

Before The Witch Queen, seasonal activities from earlier seasons were removed when new ones arrived; the Battlegrounds were the exception and joined the Vanguard Ops Playlist. Since The Edge of Fate, older seasonal content can appear in Fireteam Ops in The Portal, and the Portal has a Seasonal Hub for challenges.
