Servitor

Overview

Servitors are large, floating, semi-sentient spherical machines that the Fallen use as combat support. They hover to move and support nearby Fallen, and they teleport short distances to dodge attacks and flank targets. Most have a central purple glowing eye, which is also their weak spot and which they often shield during fights. They fire powerful Void blasts from the eye.

Role

In Destiny 2, Servitors create tethers to nearby Fallen that grant immunity to incoming damage. In high-difficulty activities they also gain Void shields. Their main function is converting matter and energy into Ether, a substance the Fallen need to grow into Captains. Servitors can also store Ether until it is drained.

Variants

  • Prime Servitor is the largest known form. It produces large amounts of Ether and is central to House leadership, alongside an Archon and a Kell. Nearly every House has one, and if a House's Prime Servitor is destroyed, the House becomes very vulnerable.
  • Elite and Major Servitors have more health and damage resistance than Minor ones but look largely the same.
  • Ultra and larger Servitors have a melee attack that releases a health-draining vortex from the eye when enemies get close.
  • Other variants include High Servitors, which can jam signals, and Barrier Servitors, along with many House-specific and syndicate-specific forms.
