Overview

Sever - Shame is the first of the Season of the Haunted Sever story missions, a Story-type activity set in the Underbelly of the Derelict Leviathan (launched from the Moon). Hidden agents have found ingress into the lower armory decks, and the player infiltrates the Underbelly with Crow to perform a ritual severance that weakens Calus's connection to the Pyramid. It is part of the weekly Bound in Sorrow questline, and recommended power is 1560.

Encounters and mechanics

Destroy the Arc conduit to open a side room and plant the amplifier on the pile of bones, then double back and destroy the Arc conduits in the pipe room.
Three amplifier placements in total: a side room near the start, a pipe and armory section, and a vent with incinerators.
The Containment section is the Shame-specific part: an invincible Nightmare Ceremonial Bather hunts the player while override switches are activated.
Final boss: the Nightmare of the Fanatic in the Gauntlet arena, a two-phase fight (damage during portal phases, clear adds between).
Contains one Calus Bobblehead collectible.
