This weapon lobs explosive slugs. When you're aiming down sights, the slugs travel fast and straight. When you're firing from the hip, the explosion is larger and applies Scorch to the target.
Overview
Slug Rifle is the intrinsic of Skyburner's Oath, an Exotic weapon that lobs explosive slugs. Aiming down sights makes the slugs travel fast and straight, close to hitscan after patch 4.1.0 raised their speed. Hip-firing makes them arc like grenade launcher rounds, and each detonation is larger.
Only hip-fire explosions apply Scorch to targets. The fire rate is 150 RPM in both modes as of 4.1.0.
