Strange Favor

Strange Favor is the Xûr reputation earned in Dares of Eternity; playing the activity is the only source. Each run (Normal or Legend) grants 75 Strange Favor, and a Platinum completion adds 75 more. Two consecutive runs start an Activity Streak, and each later run in the streak adds 25 more, capped at five consecutive runs. The streak breaks when you visit a destination (other than the Tower, H.E.L.M, Xur's Treasure Trove, or returning to orbit), leave a run mid-way, or play another activity.

Ranks

Ranks run from Guardian I to Legend, with Legend requiring 9,000 Strange Favor. Each rank tier has its own requirement. At 10,000 Strange Favor (Legend max rank) you can reset your rank with Xur to restart the grind, up to five resets per season. Ranks grant Strange Engrams and other reward-track items such as Keys, Upgrade Modules, and Enhancement Cores, with higher ranks offering Ascendant Shards or Exotic Engrams. Xur's Treasure Trove unlocks cosmetic and weapon chests at ranks 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16, costing 1 to 7 Treasure Keys each.

Xur and Starhorse bounties do not grant Strange Favor.
