History of Strider

Overview

Strider is the Exotic quest for the Winterbite Glaive, added with Lightfall. It is given by the archivist, Quinn, in the Hall of Heroes in Neomuna. You must first finish Stargazer, Maelstrom and Bluejay. Expect several days, because the Terminal Overload step is gated by a daily rotation.

Walkthrough

1. Visit the archivist in the Hall of Heroes.
2. Spend a key on a Terminal Overload Key Chest in each of Ahimsa Park, Zephyr Concourse and Límíng Harbor. Terminal Overload rotates through one zone per day, so this takes three days.
3. Defeat Shadow Legion Cabal on Neomuna to gather 20 pieces of location data, then complete the Ahimsa Park Lost Sector (Gilded Precept) for the data cipher.
4. Return to the archivist.
5. Approach Strider's memorial to repair it.
6. Go to Maya's Retreat, destroy the Hydras and shut down the confluxes. PCGamesN notes you defeat a marked Hydra, interact with confluxes until a larger Hydra appears, then kill it; TheGamer says four Hydras. Follow the on-screen objective.
7. Return to the archivist for Winterbite.
