Submachine Gun

Submachine Guns are compact, fully automatic weapons built for close-quarters combat, able to hose down multiple enemies at short range. Most fire at 600 or 900 rounds per minute, though exceptions exist such as the Antedate at 324 RPM. Range stats are generally low, from about 16 up to 82.

Submachine Guns occupy the Kinetic and Energy slots. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Exotic versions exist.

Notable weapons

• Barrow-Dyad is a Kinetic Exotic SMG firing at 720 RPM, with Range 53 and Handling 48.
• Osteo Striga and the Antedate have the highest range stats among SMGs.
• Several named SMGs are tied to specific seasons, including No Survivors, The Title and The Hero's Burden.
