History of Sword

Overview

A Sword is a Heavy weapon type introduced in The Taken King. Unlike most weapon types, swords are close-range melee weapons. Each sword's Guard function partially blocks incoming enemy attacks, and each attack consumes Heavy ammo.

Many Lost Lament steps need sword kills. Its reward, The Lament, is a Solar Exotic sword introduced in Beyond Light.
