Swordbearer is the title for the Crota's End raid seal (18 triumphs). The raid was reprised on 1 September 2023 in the Season of Defiance (per Shacknews/Dexerto start-time coverage seen in search; TheGamer's seal guide was published 8 October 2023).

Overview

  • Activity: Crota's End Raid, including its Master version.
  • Title granted: Swordbearer.
  • Time: at least four weeks, because Conquest By Virtue needs every weekly challenge on Master.
  • Gilding / availability: raid seals are not listed among gildable titles in the sources checked (Sensazioni's seals guide), and none of the opened guides mention gilding. No retirement noted; the seal is currently earnable.

Triumphs

  1. Crota's End (triumph) - complete any version of the raid.
  2. Raid: Crota's End - collect the badge: the six Legendary weapons, a full armor set and cosmetics (the exotic Necrochasm is not required).
  3. Spoils of Conquest - find and loot the three hidden chests.
  4. Broken Throne - complete Master.
  5. Conservation of Energy - challenge: light only one lantern per Chalice deposit.
  6. Precarious Balance - challenge: cross the bridge only while it is decaying.
  7. Equal Vessels - Ir Yut, the Deathsinger challenge: every player must take the Chalice once before anyone repeats.
  8. All For One - challenge: Crota, Son of Oryx's shield must be destroyed shortly after he is damaged.
  9. Conquest By Virtue - all encounter challenges on Master (triumph challenges themselves are not required).
  10. Unbowed - full fireteam of clanmates.
  11. Retributive Charge - all-Arc fireteam.
  12. Enlightened Emanation - all-Solar fireteam.
  13. Hidden Depths - all-Void fireteam.
  14. In Unison - all players on the same class.
  15. Feather-Light - complete the Abyss encounter without anyone reaching 10 stacks of Weight of Darkness.
  16. Threatening Reach - kill all Swordbearers at the Oversoul Throne bridge from the opposite side of the chasm.
  17. Communal Rites - at least one player expunges each round of the Ir Yut encounter.
  18. Singular Sensation - during the Crota, Son of Oryx encounter, only one player may be Enlightened at a time (TheGamer).

Tips

Master imposes a -20 power delta and Champions; GameRant/TheGamer recommend healing support such as Banner of War and Well of Radiance. Source notes differ in how they sort the 8 encounter challenges, so check each triumph's in-game text.
