Overview

The Line Between Light and Dark is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires the completion of two specific strikes, each utilizing a different elemental alignment of the subclass system. The triumph tracks progress through two distinct objectives: one for completing a strike with a Light subclass equipped, and another for completing a strike with a Darkness subclass equipped. It belongs to the Teamwork: Strikes and Battlegrounds category of Monument of Triumph.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must successfully finish two separate strike activities. The first requirement is to complete a strike while having a Light subclass active. This includes subclasses associated with Solar, Arc, and Void elements. The second requirement is to complete a strike while having a Darkness subclass active. This includes subclasses associated with Stasis and Strand elements.

The objectives are independent, meaning the player can complete them in any order or during the same session. There are no restrictions on the specific strike activity chosen, nor are there requirements regarding the difficulty level or number of players. The only condition is that the player must be actively using the specified subclass type during the completion of the respective strike. Once both strikes are finished, the triumph will be marked as complete.

Practical setup and reward

Use a dedicated Light subclass for one complete Strike and a dedicated Darkness subclass for another. Keep the selected subclass active through each mission-complete screen. Completing and claiming both objectives grants 30 Legendary Marks through Monument of Triumph.
