The Long Con (triumph)

Overview

The Long Con is a triumph associated with the Renegades campaign. It is awarded for completing the fifth story mission of the same name. The triumph contributes to the overall campaign progression and requires the Guardian to execute a coordinated infiltration of an Imperium facility on Venus.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the Guardian must complete the The Long Con mission. The operation begins in the cargo bay of a stolen NLS Crusier, where the Guardian equips Renegade Abilities before boarding a shuttle to Venus. Upon arrival, the Guardian must survive an ambush by Imperium forces.

The objective involves disabling four tower emitters to restore Renegade Abilities and halt the Imperium fleet. Subsequently, the Guardian must eliminate three Psions to stop incoming airstrikes. After clearing combatants from the landing zone, the Guardian allows Ghost to hack the power flow regulator barrier. This requires defending Ghost while it overrides barrier protocols and overloads power conduits with an Unstable Power Unit.

A Splicer Shank assists in hacking the final console but is compromised, prompting a diversion. The Guardian must then enter the base, bypassing Totality Agents, and proceed to the Control Room to disable the Shield Generator. Success requires coordinating with Drifter, who is already inside the facility, to ensure the generator is shut down and the station's shields are neutralized.
