The Magnificent One

Overview

The Magnificent One awards 25 Triumph score for completing every encounter of Spire of the Watcher solo without leaving the activity. It is required for the Wanted seal and increases the drop chance of Hierarchy of Needs. A flawless run is a separate objective: deaths do not by themselves invalidate this solo Triumph.

How to complete

Launch Spire of the Watcher alone from the beginning and stay in that instance until Persys, Primordial Ruin is defeated. Keep the fireteam closed so another player cannot join. A resumed checkpoint run does not meet the continuous-run requirement.

1. Defeat Conduit Minotaurs for Arctrician and power the opening circuits. Follow each yellow wire from its starting node to its endpoint, shooting nodes in order.
2. Ascend the spire by powering both circuits on each floor. Refresh Arctrician when necessary and clear dangerous enemies before moving between exposed platforms.
3. At Akelous, the Siren's Current, connect all four fuel-rod circuits. Finish the last circuit from the walkway you want to use for damage, destroy the boss's red eyes quickly, then damage the exposed critical spot. Retreat from the knockback at the end of each phase.
4. Descend through the red-wire doors, shooting their nodes rapidly. At Persys, Primordial Ruin, defeat the Incarcerator Hydras and obtain Arctrician. Open the reactor room with the red nodes, complete the two active yellow circuits with Persys inside, then close the blast door using the red nodes to purge its shield. Repeat damage phases until the boss dies.

Take enough damage phases to survive safely rather than risking the run for a faster kill. Supplicants are a particular danger in the final encounter; clear them before working on circuits.

Rewards

The record contributes to Wanted and provides the Hierarchy of Needs drop-rate boost. The 25 points are Triumph score, rather than Glimmer.
