The Strand

Overview

The Strand is a region of the Dreaming City, alongside the Divalian Mists and Rheasilvia. It first appeared in Forsaken and later returned in Season of the Lost and Season of the Wish. It has three patrol beacons, the Rift Generator public event, the Lost Sector Aphelion's Rest, and the way to the Gardens of Esila.

Access

The Gardens of Esila are reached from the southern part of The Strand: leave the Strand gates to the right, head to the castle-like structure, and take the stairs on its right side.

Rift Generator

The Rift Generator is a public event added in Forsaken and exclusive to the Dreaming City. Scorn and Taken try to destroy the generator, and players must defend the Generator Core from damage.

Aphelion's Rest

Aphelion's Rest is a Lost Sector in a cave beneath one of the hills in The Strand. It was one of the Atlas Skew locations in Tracing the Stars week two.

Enemies and events

Enemy factions are Savathûn's Brood and Xivu Arath's Horde, with Hive, Scorn and Taken as hostile races. Petra Venj appears here during the first week of the three-week Taken curse cycle.
