The Threshold

Overview

The Threshold is a private area inside the Pale Heart, the destination of The Final Shape's story. Its enemy faction is the Dread, and its hostile races are the Psion and Taken.

Players arrive here by crash-landing during the opening of the Transmigration mission. Mara Sov guides them, and the first objective is to enter the Threshold. Here players open Darkness barriers and defeat Taken, Dread and Taken Centurions; the Icons of Light they drop are deposited on Darkness plates to form paths. After clearing the final Taken and a small platforming section, players are pulled into a portal and land on a white platform, then pass a cave-like section into the Pale Heart.

Access

The Threshold can only be entered during the Transmigration mission, the first story mission of The Final Shape. It connects the Lost City and the Outskirts.
