The Wellspring: Defend

Overview

The Wellspring: Defend is the Defend version of The Wellspring, a six-player matchmade activity in Savathûn's Throne World from The Witch Queen. It unlocks after the campaign and recommends 1510 power. It alternates with The Wellspring: Attack.

Mechanics

Guardians protect the Wellspring against Scorn forces and a Lightflayer boss, fighting back from the Wellspring toward the Court of Thorns entrance. Defend bosses are Vezuul, Lightflayer (drops Tarnation) and Zeerik, Lightflayer (drops Father's Sins).

Difficulty and rewards

• Standard: uncommon weapons, Veritas armor, exotic Glaive patterns.
• Expert/Master: Master requires Rank 18 with Fynch; it gives higher-stat armor, Ascendant Alloy and better pattern drop rates.
