Thul-Ar

Overview

Thul-Ar, Acolyte of Nokris, is a Hive Lightbearer Acolyte of the Lucent Brood. In Destiny 2 they appear in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, where they guard the The Navigator catalyst.

Catalyst fight

To summon Thul-Ar, the player must own The Navigator and collect a Vestige of Light buff from a pile of dead Ghosts, then deposit it at a Hive statue. Thul-Ar is shielded and shows a Hive symbol. Killing the unit beside the matching symbol creates a pool of Hive energy, which lets the player break the shield. A wrong choice resets the symbol. The process repeats for each of the three piles, and defeating Thul-Ar on the last one lets the player claim the catalyst.

The Navigator catalyst cannot be earned from the Rite of the Nine version of the dungeon.
