Trace Rifle Mastery

Overview

Trace Rifle Mastery is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to accumulate final blows against Guardians in the Crucible using any Trace Rifle. Completing the triumph awards 25 Triumph score.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must achieve 100 final blows with a Trace Rifle against enemy Guardians in the Crucible. The weapon used must be a trace rifle; other weapon types do not contribute to the objective count. The final blows must occur within the Crucible activity type. Once 100 final blows are recorded, the triumph is marked as complete.

Seal and practical tips

This belongs to the lifetime Crucible weapon-mastery category and is a requirement for Deadeye. The 100 final blows accumulate across matches; a single match or uninterrupted kill streak is not required.

Equip a Trace Rifle and keep its beam on the opponent until it secures the final blow. Work with teammates to pressure enemies, but avoid switching weapons before the finishing damage. Assists, combatant kills in another activity and damage dealt without a final blow do not replace the required Guardian defeats.

Use cover between engagements and manage the ammunition supply of the selected Trace Rifle. The weapon type is the restriction; the objective does not require a specific Exotic, element or perk roll.
