History of Tractor Cannon

Tractor Cannon is an Exotic Void Shotgun made by the Ishtar Collective. It began as a cargo-grade gravity grapple built on Venus to lift heavy objects; Guardians use it purely for force. It does little damage for a shotgun but has huge knockback.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, "Repulsor Force", pushes enemies away, suppresses their abilities and makes them take about 30% more damage from all sources (per Destinypedia). Its trait "The Scientific Method" boosts movement speed and handling when you damage enemies, and kills refresh it.

Acquisition

• Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops.
• Xûr sometimes sells it for Legendary Shards when it is in his weekly rotation.
• Opening Maeve's stash in the Cosmodrome with her key (the chest is across from Shaw Han in the Steppes), per Destinypedia and GosuNoob.
• It is not sold at the Monument to Lost Lights (Game Rant).

Catalyst

The catalyst is a random drop from any non-Guardian enemy once you own the weapon. It then needs 300 kills with the weapon (counted retroactively, PvP included) and grants Deeper Pockets, increasing ammo reserves.
