Verglas Curve Catalyst

Overview

Verglas Curve Catalyst is the Exotic Catalyst Triumph for Verglas Curve, an Exotic Stasis Combat Bow in the kinetic slot. Defeat 700 targets with the bow after obtaining its catalyst, then apply the completed upgrade in the weapon's catalyst socket.

Acquisition

Acquire Verglas Curve from the Monument to Lost Lights if it is not already in your collection. Speak to Banshee-44 in the Tower to obtain Nock, Draw, Loose, Quiet. The quest begins with rapid defeats and Stasis final blows, then requires calibration data from eligible activities and defeats using the bow. Return to Banshee-44 to receive the catalyst. Completing the quest and charging the catalyst are separate stages.

Completion and effect

Use Verglas Curve for final blows in an enemy-dense activity or repeat a Lost Sector. Precision shots quickly defeat weaker enemies; its Hail Barrage arrows help freeze groups before you finish them with the bow. Defeats with other equipped weapons do not satisfy the weapon-specific objective.

After 700 qualifying defeats, apply the catalyst to unlock Shiver Quiver. Freezing or slowing a target briefly increases draw speed. The original 2023 catalyst description only mentioned freezing; slowing was added in update 7.2.0.1. The triumph records this weapon upgrade and does not award another weapon.
