Vesper's Host

Overview

Vesper's Host is a three-player Dungeon on Europa added with Episode: Revenant, set in a corrupted Clovis Bray station. It has Normal and Master versions. To start, get the "Rogue Network" quest from Spider in the Last City, then launch from Europa. Reports differ on whether the dungeon pass from Destiny 2: The Final Shape is required. Contest mode ran for 48 hours after launch, ending October 13 at reset; the dungeon is now permanent.

Core mechanic: Viral Augments

Augmented Fallen drop floating augments with a one-minute timer; you die if it expires while holding one. Banking resets the timer. Three types adapted from the Deep Stone Crypt: Operator (shoot red panels), Scanner (shows safe panels on the radar) and Suppressor (decoys that suppress enemies).

Encounters

1. Activation / reboot the station: collect three nuclear cores from colour-coded rooms (about two minutes per room) using Scanner and Operator, and deposit them. Radiation stacks kill at x10.
2. Raneiks Unified: a maze section with a pursuing boss and five numbered cores comes first. Suppress Raneiks to split it into ten Servitors, spot the marked ones, call out their numbers, and the Operator shoots matching panels to open damage phases. Breaking line of sight avoids the Integration wipe.
3. Atraks-1, the Corrupted Puppeteer: after a jumping puzzle with lethal lightning, find the real clone, clear bunker panels with augments, deposit cores to lower immunity, then DPS.

Rewards

Ice Breaker (Exotic sniper, final boss), Gravitic Arrest, Chill Inhibitor and dungeon armor.
