History of Wayfarer

Wayfarer is the title granted by the Destinations seal, earned by completing all 22 Destination triumphs. They cover the Year 1 destinations (European Dead Zone, Nessus, Io, Titan, Mercury, Mars) plus the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City from Destiny 2: Forsaken.

Status: unobtainable. Wayfarer (together with Chronicler) was retired on 10 November 2020 with the arrival of Destiny 2: Beyond Light and can no longer be earned. Anyone who earned the title before then keeps it.

Required triumphs

• Destinations: Red War - collect the Year 1 vendor armor sets (Gensym Knight, Wildwood, Lost Pacific, Exodus Down) via the Collections badge.
• Destinations: Curse of Osiris and Warmind - collect planetary gear plus Mercury and Mars (Prophecy and Sleeper Node) weapons and armor.
• Destinations: Forsaken - complete the Forsaken Collections badge (Tangled Shore and Dreaming City gear).
• Heroically Adventurous - complete five Heroic adventures on each Year 1 planet, including Titan.
• Broken House - explore the Kingship Dock Lost Sector on the Tangled Shore.
• Great Excavations - explore the Wolfship Turbine Lost Sector on the Tangled Shore.
• Shipwrecked - explore Shipyard AWO-43 on the Tangled Shore.
• Trap Master - explore Trapper's Cave on the Tangled Shore.

• WANTED—Lost Sectors—Alpha, WANTED—Lost Sectors—Bravo, WANTED—Lost Sectors—Charlie - clear European Dead Zone Lost Sectors and defeat the named wanted captains in each. 13 of the 16 EDZ Lost Sectors are needed; Hallowed Grove, Atrium and Scavenger's Den can be skipped.
• The remaining Lost Sector triumphs for Io (Sanctum of Bones, Aphix Conduit, Grove of Ulan-Tan) and Titan (Methane Flush, Cargo Bay 3, DS Quarters-2) are part of the 22.

Gilding

Not gildable. The seal can no longer be completed, so the title cannot be gilded.

Tips and time

• Most of the work is collection-based and Lost Sector clears. Estimated time: several hours up to a few days for a full set of collections.
• Wayfarer is considered low-skill but grindy and RNG-gated. The Braytech Osprey, a rare Nightfall drop, is part of the grind.

Rewards

• Wayfarer title (no longer obtainable).
