Word of Crota (triumph)

Overview

The Word of Crota triumph tracks the completion of Deepsight Resonance extractions for the Word of Crota hand cannon. Completing these extractions unlocks the weapon's Pattern. The triumph requires five total pattern progress completions.

How to complete

Obtain the Word of Crota hand cannon. This weapon is a Level 20 Legendary item originally acquired as a random drop from defeating Crota, Son of Oryx on Heroic difficulty in Destiny. It has since been reissued in Destiny 2 as a reward from the Crota's End raid.

Engage with the weapon in Destiny 2 to perform Deepsight Resonance extractions. Each successful extraction contributes to the pattern progress. Repeat this process until the pattern progress reaches five out of five to complete the triumph.

The Word of Crota is part of the high rate-of-fire and low-impact Hand Cannon archetype. It features the intrinsic perk Zen Moment, which increases stability when causing damage, and Phantom Gift, which deals bonus damage to Fallen Vandals. Selectable perks include SteadyHand IS, SureShot IS, QuickDraw IS, Speed Reload, Hammer Forged, and Explosive Rounds. It is the first Hand Cannon capable of dealing Void damage.
