Worm Byproduct

Overview

Worm Byproduct is the trait on the Exotic Grenade Launcher Parasite, added in Season 16. Taking damage from your own worm's detonation empowers your weapons for a short time. Parasite fires worms that explode on impact.

Effect

When your own worm's blast damages you, your other weapons gain a 15% damage increase for 10 seconds. The perk is the reward for the self-damage that comes with Parasite's explosions.

Acquisition

Parasite comes from the "Of Queens and Worms" exotic quest. It starts with Mara Sov after completing The Witch Queen campaign, and includes the Birthplace of the Vile strike, killing 100 Scorn, and several Lost Sectors.
