Death Adder

Overview

Death Adder is a Legendary Submachine Gun that fires Solar damage from the Energy slot. It uses the Lightweight Frame, which gives superb handling. Its flavor text reads, "You will not see me coming." It was introduced in Season 11.

The curated roll is Smallbore, Steady Rounds, Hip-Fire Grip and Eye of the Storm. Some listings give Dual Strength Barrel as the barrel instead. Steady Rounds greatly improves stability at a slight cost to range. Hip-Fire Grip improves accuracy, stability and precision when firing from the hip. Eye of the Storm makes the weapon more accurate and improves handling as health drops.

Acquisition

Death Adder was originally acquired from the Prophecy dungeon. It was later moved to the World Item Pool in Season of the Lost. It now drops from Io faction engrams when ranking up with the Io faction, from Gunsmith engrams, from faction engrams given as additional ranking-up rewards, and from Legendary Engrams. It can also be bought from Asher Mir with Io Tokens and Legendary Shards.

This item cannot be reacquired from Collections.
