Decay

Decay refers to the Redolence of Decay, a Darkness-empowered Shadow Legion soldier, most often a Centurion, found in the Scission encounter of Root of Nightmares. Redolence of Decay are immune to all attacks unless the attacker holds the Flux of Darkness buff.

The buff is gained by shooting Dark aura nodes in the encounter, and it lets the player activate Dark nodes. Once the Nodes of Splendor and Decay are linked, other red-bar minors appear, including Legionaries and Psions at the end of floor 1, Gladiators at the end of floor 2, and Incendiors at the end of floor 3.
