Overview
Elite is a Destiny 2 triumph that tracks the elimination of enemy combatants classified as Elites. The objective requires the player to progress through a total of seven eliminations. The triumph description notes that these Vanguard forces have proven they can defeat humanity's most difficult challenges and are now taking them down, one by one.
How to complete
To complete the triumph, eliminate seven Elite enemies across any faction. Elites are a rank of combatant introduced in Destiny 2 that serve a role similar to Major enemies from Destiny. They are visually distinct from Minor enemies, typically featuring an orange health bar segmented into three parts, larger than that of an equivalent Minor.
Elites are identified by specific adjectives or names depending on their faction and affiliation:
- Fallen: Commonly referred to as Resilient, though Servitors are Unyielding. Variants include those from the House of Dusk, House of Salvation, House of Exile, and the Pikers (referred to as Trusted).
- Hive: Commonly referred to as Revenant. Variants include those from Savathûn's Brood, Xivu Arath's Horde, Grasp of Nokris (Unhallowed), Hidden Swarm, and Lucent Brood.
- Vex: Sol Collective and Sol Divisive Vex are Quantum, while those in the Infinite Forest, Precursors, and Descendants are Axis. Common elite Fanatics are Finalizers. Nessian Schism units are Elite (Compelled) or Uplifted (Choral). Tharsis Reformation elites are Singular.
- Cabal: Commonly referred to as Honored. The Red Legion uses silver armor. Loyalists may wear purple or golden wear, while Shadow Legion units have colorful trims. Special units include Imperial and Shadow Guard. Barant Imperium units use Electi or Legatus prefixes. Totality Division elites feature gold highlights.
- Taken: Commonly called Ravenous. Elite Taken Ogres are Hallowed. This category also includes Dire Taken.
- Scorn: Commonly called Corrupted, while Abominations are Deranged.
- Dread: Each unit has unique nomenclature and appearance.
