Overview
'''Grandmaster: Heist Battleground: Moon''' is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It requires completing Heist Battleground: Moon on Grandmaster difficulty. The Moon Heist Battleground was one of the six Grandmaster Nightfalls of Season of the Witch. In that season's rotation, which ran from September 12 to November 21, 2023, it came up on October 10 and November 21.
How to complete
Heist Battleground: Moon was introduced in Season of the Seraph and has four stages:
- Breach the Bunker: destroy the three Hive seals near the entrance.
- Descend into the Bunker: stand on three rune plates at the same time to lower the Hive barrier.
- Navigate the Laser Grid: time your movement through the lasers, or shoot the wall emitters to disable them.
- Repel the Invaders: pick up the Cryptoglyphs and deposit them at the central console. This unlocks the boss arena.
Boss: Once-Phyris, the Exhumed Tether, a Scorn Raider. The fight cycles between a damage phase and an immunity phase. Destroy the floating Ether Tethers during the immunity phase to break its shield.
After Destiny 2: Lightfall, the Heist Battlegrounds moved into the Vanguard Ops playlist, so the Grandmaster version is selected there rather than launched from the Director.
Seal and reward
This triumph is one of the six Grandmaster Nightfall triumphs in the Conqueror seal. Completing all six awards Total Conquest automatically. The seal's other triumphs are Lightbearer, Breaker of Champions and Conqueror's Discipline. Completing the full seal unlocks the Conqueror title, which can be gilded once per season by completing every Grandmaster Nightfall of that season.
Availability
Grandmaster Nightfalls were removed in Update 9.0.0.1 with Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate on July 15, 2025. Nightfalls now run on a daily rotation covering all strikes and Battlegrounds, and The Portal offers Grandmaster-difficulty versions of PvE activities in their place.
