Overview

Hardware is a Crucible Control-tagged activity entry (destination: The Crucible) in which players fight with weapons only. Hardware is a Crucible modifier that locks out abilities and floods the map with Special and Heavy ammo, emphasising raw gunplay. Community discussion describes infinite Heavy ammo in the mode.

How to launch

Select it from the Crucible playlist rotation when it is featured; it is not a permanent playlist.

Mechanics

Abilities are locked, ammo drops are generous, and Heavy ammo can be restocked constantly. Related entries: Hardware Mix, Hardware Mix 3v3, Hardware Supremacy, Havoc Supremacy.

Rewards

No unique rewards are tied to this entry; Crucible rotator rewards such as the Triumphal Anthem armor set drop from the Hardware Mix variants.
