Hive Cryptoglyph

Overview

The Hive Cryptoglyph is a powerful Hive artifact in the Catacombs of Legacy: Shadowkeep, beneath the Hellmouth on the Moon. Eris Morn uses it to craft further Dreambane armor, and she needs it before she can keep making those pieces. See Catacombs.

Acquisition

The Cryptoglyph is obtained in the In the Deep mission, the third story mission of Legacy: Shadowkeep, recommended for 1 to 3 players at power level 800. It unlocks after the second step of the Essence of Anguish quest. The route passes the Hall of Wisdom and the Circle of Bones, and Besurith, Daughter of Crota, is the mission's boss. Once you take the Cryptoglyph, your Light is drained and Eris cannot teleport you out, so you must run for the surface.

Use

Return to Eris Morn and use the Cryptoglyph to empower the Lectern of Enchantment near her, which yields a new Dreambane piece. Dreambane pieces come from cleansing five essences. Once all five are cleansed, each piece becomes available for purchase.
