Into the Mindscape

Overview

Into the Mindscape is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It requires the player to complete a PsiOps Battlegrounds activity. These are three-player, matchmade seasonal activities introduced in Season of the Risen alongside Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. Each version takes place in a different location against a different Hive boss: the EDZ against Mor'ak, Lightstealer; the Cosmodrome against Uul'nath, Lightcleanser; and the Moon against Korosek, Thronebringer.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must complete PsiOps Battlegrounds. The walkthrough below uses the EDZ version.

1. Get in. Open the Destinations tab and select EDZ, or queue through the PsiOps Battlegrounds playlist.
2. Break the portals. Defeat the Lucent Hive hunting party at the waypoint. Each Portalguard has a shield that only falls to Relic weapons, which you take from Lucent Reliquists. Destroy the Portalguard's Ghosts too, or they respawn and block progress. Once the barrier is down, enter the portal. There are three Portalguards in total.
3. Subdue Mor'ak. The final portal leads to Mor'ak, Lightstealer, leader of the Lucent Hive hunting parties. Damage him until one health bar is gone, and Psions subdue him and pull you into the Mindscape.
4. Clear the Mindscape. Interact with the waypoint object to engage the connection, then defeat Mor'ak's escorts. Each time he loses a bar, he vanishes and Aspects of Savathûn appear. Only the Synaptic Spear damages them, so pick it up at its waypoint and use it. Repeat until all his bars are gone.
5. Finish. You return to the material plane with Mor'ak already captured. Open the chest nearby to end the activity.

The Synaptic Spear can clear several enemies at once, and it can also damage Mor'ak once the Aspects are gone.
