Katasterismós

Overview

Katasterismós is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2. It is the final entry of the Anamórphōsis lore book, which comes from the Rite of the Nine event. The entry was added in the May 2025 Heresy release.

Lore entry

The book is a transcription of communications between The Nine and the Emissary, which the source identifies as Orin. The Nine speak as a collective “we”, and the Emissary is addressed in the second person in italicised passages.

Katasterismós shifts from the Emissary's confrontation with the Nine toward a body being rebuilt from “starstuff”, described as a silver urn containing ash. The closing lines say the figure's “gift will end wars.” The book also suggests that Nasya was a former self of the Emissary, one of the identities it passed through before becoming Orin.

How to unlock

The entries of Anamórphōsis are unlocked with golden engrams that carry engravings, found in the event's dungeons.
