Luminopotent is a Legendary armor set. Its two-piece bonus, Ionic Overclock, increases handling, reload and vent speed for Fusion Rifles, Linear Fusion Rifles and Heat weapons while amplified. Its four-piece bonus, Shock and Clear, makes final blows with Jolt or against jolted combatants create Ionic Traces.

Luminopotent pieces drop from Solo Ops and Fireteam Ops in the Vanguard Ops tab of the Director. Solo Ops is the fastest route; Fireteam Ops, which are Strikes, take longer. Tier 5 pieces need a power level above 500 and a Grandmaster-level run finished with an S rank or higher.

The weekly Vanguard Arms Rewards in the Portal include armor keys, which are spent with Zavala for Tier 5 pieces; each piece's stat roll is set at the weekly reset. Once the set is owned, Zavala's Armor Focused Decoding tab sells specific pieces for 1 Vanguard Engram and 15,000 Glimmer. Vanguard Engrams come from ranking up with Vanguard Ops.
