Master Conquest: Derealize

Overview

Master Conquest: Derealize is the Master-difficulty version of the Derealize Exotic mission, the mission tied to the Barrow-Dyad Strand submachine gun and The Taken Path questline, which investigates a mysterious Taken power. It has specific elemental Surges, weapon buffs and enemy buffs.

Access

The Exotic mission was added in Episode: Heresy and, after the Episodes were folded into Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, now appears in the Portal's Exotic mission rotator, so it must be featured to run it. As a Master Conquest it counts toward Guardian Rank progression.

Known issues

It was temporarily disabled in December 2025 due to a scoring issue, which blocked Guardian Rank 8/9 progress; Bungie re-enabled it with Update 9.5.0.1. Exact power requirements are not confirmed by sources used here.

Rewards

Guardian Rank progression; the base Exotic mission awards Barrow-Dyad on first clear.
