Mote of Primordial Light

Overview

The Mote of Primordial Light is the final Exotic item of the Khvostov 7G-0X quest. It forms when a player has collected 17 Motes of Light.

Acquisition

• Eight Motes come from the Visions of the Traveler in the Pale Heart, spread from The Lost City through The Divide.
• Nine Motes come from the nine tier-4 Overthrow bosses, three each in The Landing, The Blooming and The Impasse. Boss rotation is random, so restarting Overthrow may be needed to reach one not yet defeated.

Use

Return to the Lost City and go to the Speaker's room where the player first met Cayde-6. Place the eight Visions on their pedestals. A chest appears in the middle of the room, and the Mote opens it to claim Khvostov 7G-0X.
