Perpetual Motion

Overview

Perpetual Motion is a Season 15 trait that rewards movement. While the wielder is moving, the weapon gains bonus Stability, Handling and Reload speed. The bonus stops when you stand still, so it suits fast play more than planted shooting.

Numbers

Community data reports different values over time. One Bungie forum thread, citing the d2gunsmith tool, lists +5 Stability, Handling and Reload speed after 2 seconds of movement, rising to +15 after 10 seconds. Treat those figures as dated and check a current source.

Opinion is split. Some players argue the bonus is too easy to trigger, while others say it is not enough on its own for aggressive sniper or shotgun builds.
