Pitiless Attendant

Pitiless Attendants are major-ranked Taken Taken Phalanx variants that first appeared in Season of the Wish. They appear in the final encounter of the Starcrossed exotic mission, guarding the paracausal sparks in the room where Akardon, Pitiless Mind, is fought.

Overview

The Attendants carry a Taken Slug Rifle and a Cabal shield, with abilities including Teleportation and Shield Bash. Two Attendants sit on either side of the room, and while they live Akardon keeps a large rotating shield that greatly reduces incoming damage.

Location

The Starcrossed boss room. Players step on the orange and blue paracausal sparks to gain the Crowned by Dragons buff, which lets them damage the Attendants.

Defeat

Once slain, the Attendants do not respawn.
