Set Apart

Asterion, Set Apart is a Taken boss in the The Shattered Throne dungeon, one of the earlier encounters met while descending into the spire. Players clear the Taken enemies that guard the route, then reach a checkpoint on the path. Jumping down from there leads to an area with enemies and snipers, and Asterion waits at the end of the path. The fight is straightforward: clear the adds and defeat him, which opens the way forward.

After Asterion the route becomes a long hallway lined with Taken snipers, Taken Phalanxes and Knights, with the Knights' fire attack the main threat. Past a barrier, a slowed zone with endlessly spawning Shadow Thralls leads to the first boss, Vorgeth.
