Taraxippos is a Legendary Strand Scout Rifle, a Lightweight Frame at 200 RPM and a Guardian Games weapon. It debuted in Season 20's Guardian Games (2023) as a Strand alternative to Hung Jury, and returned in 2025.

Overview

Game Rant notes it lacks dedicated Strand perks and shines more in PvP. Common rolls: PvP Smallbore/Steady Rounds, Lone Wolf or Zen Moment, and Explosive Payload or Kill Clip; PvE Appended Mag, Fourth Time's the Charm or Enlightened Action with Explosive Payload or Hatchling.

Acquisition

Earned during Guardian Games by depositing medals/completing event activities; in 2023 via the Best in Class quest from Eva Levante (available May 2-23, 2023). For 2025 it drops from Rushdown with a refreshed perk pool. Not craftable.
