Expunge: Tartarus

Overview

Expunge: Tartarus is the third Expunge mission from Season of the Splicer, launched from Europa with a recommended Power of 1290. It is unlocked by Path of the Splicer V. A Corrupted variant followed, then Expunge: Delphi. Earlier missions: Expunge: Labyrinth and Expunge: Styx.

Encounters and mechanics

• Hack Vex confluxes to gain the Stabilized Security Access buff (about 32 seconds maximum) and use it to destroy hidden Vex blocks marked by diamond lights. Heavy platforming and environmental defenses.
• Enemies include Quantum Minotaurs and Barrier Champions.
• Boss: Dimio, the Oppressive Mind, which locks down twice, requiring blocks to be destroyed each time.
