Pre Astyanax IV is a Legendary Solar Precision Combat Bow (Cassoid) using Primary ammo. It is rated A-Tier in PvE and B-Tier in PvP. Recommended PvE perks are Archer's Tempo with Precision Instrument, and PvP perks are Perpetual Motion with Opening Shot.

Reported sources differ on how it is obtained. One lists it in the Pinnacle Ops pool as a vendor exclusive. Another lists it as a Nightfall drop, purchasable from Commander Zavala for 1 Vanguard Engram, 25 Legendary Shards and 20,000 Glimmer, with the Adept variant requiring Nightfall Ciphers on a six-week rotation. It is not craftable.
