Overview

The Drowning Labyrinth is a Legendary quest from Ikora Rey added with Episode: Heresy. It requires completing the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon in Rhulk's Pyramid on Savathun's Throne World, working with the Hidden to study the Hive secrets inside. It is time-gated with repeated dungeon runs, taking several sessions.

Walkthrough

  1. Beat Sundered Doctrine on any difficulty.
  2. Pick up the Hidden report and enter their code at the Hidden base camp (Skycoach: "Savathun, Enters, Pyramid").
  3. Find three laboratory worms and kill a group of Dread to steal their knowledge (Skycoach lists Witness, Give and Darkness symbols).
  4. Run the dungeon again to see what changed (a secret chamber behind the usual waterfall).
  5. Wait for the Hidden researchers.
  6. Pick up the next report, find three more worms (six total) and discover the Hive secrets.
  7. Check the dungeon again, wait for linguistic analysis, then find the final three worms (nine total) and the control chamber.
  8. Open the vault door in the Pyramid by defeating Kerrev, The Erased in the final run, then stay for the secret content.
  9. Debrief with Ikora Rey at the Bazaar.

Rewards

  • Skycoach lists the Finality's Auger Catalyst and the Hidden Treasures triumph; Destinypedia lists only access to restricted Pyramid knowledge. Verify in game.

Trivia

  • The vault holds an artifact belonging to the Taken King; Ikora says "Containment is key here."
