Unknown Space (triumph)

Overview

The Unknown Space triumph is a challenge within Destiny 2 that requires the Guardian to explore the mysterious celestial dimension known as Unknown Space (also referred to as the Nine Realms). This domain serves as the primary location for the Trials of the Nine and The Reckoning, and houses the Third Spire. The realm is characterized by a near-featureless expanse of white sand under a blue sky, featuring monolithic geometric structures made of white stone or golden metal. Access to this dimension is typically achieved through a floating vortex or wormhole in space, or by approaching The Haul.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the Guardian must navigate the various sub-locations within Unknown Space. These areas include the IX Realms, Queen's Court, and the Unknown Periphery. Specific points of interest accessible within this dimension include:

• The Derelict
• The Haul, which contains the areas of Heaven/Hell, Hexahedron, and Singularity.
• Equinox and Eternity, which serve as Crucible maps.
• Xûr's Dominion, located within Eternity, containing the Treasure Hoard destination and the Valley.
• The Pit, Beach, and Spire within the Vault.
• The Third Spire.
• Quantum Circuit, a Sparrow Racing League map.
• The Unknown Periphery, which includes The Nursery, Fallow Pavilion, The Chambers, Velocity's Tomb, and The Kernel.

The Queen's Court is also described as part of Unknown Space and is occupied by Mara Sov, who is affiliated with the Nine and their Emissary, Orin. The realm features an unknown planet and three moons in orbit, with a star that is permanently eclipsed. This triumph was introduced in Destiny 2 and has appeared across multiple expansions and seasons, including Forsaken, Season of the Forge, Season of the Drifter, Season of Arrivals, the 30th Anniversary Pack, Season of the Wish, Episode: Heresy, and The Edge of Fate.
